James “JD” Fulwood: As a North Charleston Police Officer, I’ve seen both the strength of our community and the challenges it faces. I started The Holy City Foundation 501(c)3 to tackle some of the root causes of instability like gaps in education, health & fitness, and economic opportunity by creating solutions that uplift individuals and families.

Through community led efforts like SC Home of the Brave 1st Responder Flag Football Game, we’re creating spaces where kids, families, and the brave men and women who protect them can come together. Our goal is to build stronger, safer, and more connected neighborhoods.
